Rabbit Health in the 21st Century
Second Edition

A Guide for Bunny Parents
By Kathy Smith

This is a book about rabbit health from a caretaker's perspective and is written for people with little or no medical or veterinary background. Rabbit Health in the 21st Century is not intended to ever replace a visit to a veterinarian. Its goal is to help rabbit caretakers play a more active, informed role in their rabbit's health care decisions.

I decided to write this book's predecessor, Rabbit Health 101, on the day my beloved Smokey lost his five-month battle with cancer. I realized how much medical knowledge I had picked up during those months, and as a tribute to Smokey's courage, I wanted to share what I had learned with other bunny caretakers. One of Kansas City's finest rabbit veterinarians, Dr. Noella Allan, reviewed the entire book.

Rabbit Health in the 21st Century contains the most up to date information and is now available in a professionally published format.   It is a 218-page paperback book with 50 black and white pictures. To find out more, please read the Table of Contents.
