Black Friday Garmin Discounts: Deals On Garmin GPS Running Watches And Fitness Trackers – Coach
If you visit Garmin’s website you would be forgiven for thinking that discounts aren’t its thing, because they’re extremely hard to come by. Fortunately, third-party retailers have recognised that Garmin’s excellent range of fitness trackers and GPS watches are much coveted, especially by runners, and these retailers regularly offer price cuts and promotions.
We constantly scour sites like Amazon, John Lewis, Currys and Argos to stay on top of substantial savings to highlight on this page. And with Black Friday (29th November) almost upon us, the deals have already started to pop up.
The discounts should be especially good in 2019 too, because Garmin has been busy this year releasing a whole load of new trackers. There have been new Vivoactive, Forerunner and Fenix watches launched in recent months, which should mean great discounts on the older versions of those watches, like the Forerunner 35, 235 and 935, the Fenix 5 and 5 Plus, and the Vivoactive 3.

It offers excellent everyday activity and sports tracking in a sleek design with a bright touchscreen. Don’t miss out on what might the best Garmin discount anywhere this Black Friday.

Garmin Vivoactive 3 – Save 29%, Now £157
Now the Vivoactive 4 has been released, we expected to see deals cropping up on the Vivoactive 3, and its price has been cut by almost a third on Amazon this Black Friday. It doesn’t have music like the Vivoactive 4 (though the Vivoactive 3 Music does and that might crop up in the sales), but it’s still a quality sports watch with built-in GPS and a heart rate monitor.

| £53 (Garmin RRP £69.99)
Garmin Forerunner 35 – Save 23%, Now £99.99
The Forerunner 35 is a great budget running watch that’s perfect for beginners. It has built-in GPS and a heart rate monitor, and tracks all the key stats you need, like time, distance and pace. If you happen to know someone who’s about to start training for the London Marathon (or any other spring marathon), nudge them in the direction of this deal, but tell them to keep an eye on it as we’d bet the price will drop further before Black Friday is said and done.

Garmin Fenix 5 – Save 32%, Now £299
It’s now been superseded by both the and Fenix 6 range, but don’t let that put you off the Fenix 5, which is still a brilliant running and triathlon watch. It has all the key features you need to train across a variety of sports and a battery life that will last 24 hours of GPS activities. And now that there are newer models, the Fenix 5 is going for a song – it’s under £300 at Blacks.
| £299 (Garmin RRP £440)
Garmin Fenix 5 Plus – Save 25%, Now £449
The RRP on this watch is a bit misleading, because £599.99 is also the price of the new Fenix 6 Pro, which has superseded the 5 Plus. However, it definitely still caught our eye to see the 5 Plus reduced to under £450. This feature-filled GPS smartwatch was one of our favourite fitness trackers at launch, picking up both a 5-star rating and a Coach-Approved badge in our product review. We rate its excellent colour maps, sports tracking and music storage among many other features, and its stylish design makes it a great everyday watch.

If you want a band-style tracker that doesn’t skimp on features, the Vivosport is the tracker for you. With Amazon cutting the price of the Vivosport to less than £90, it would almost be rude not to.
