1 Sir Mo Farah

Farah is the course record holder for the distance. He will be looking for his sixth victory at the Vitality London 10000 on Monday 27 May after previous wins in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2018.

2 Andy Butchart

Two-time previous winner, Andy Butchart is back this year. The Scottish athlete, who was sixth in the 5000m at the 2016 Olympics, ran a World Championships qualifying time of 13:18:16 for 5000m in the USA earlier this month.

3 Steph Twell

Defending champion Steph Twell will be back on the course this year.

4 Lily Partridge

Partridge won the race in 2016, and is back to give it another go this year.

5 Bryony Gordon

After doing the London Marathon in her underwear, journalist Bryony Gordon launched the ‘Celebrate You’ campaign for the Vitality 10,000 and will be running with a host of celebs in their underwear.

6 Jada Sezer

Sezer will be joining Bryony Gordon again, running in her underwear at the Vitality 10,000.

Loose Women’s Andrea McLean is also joining Gordon’s ‘Celebrate You’ campaign.

Best-selling author and mum of three, Giovanna Fletcher will be running the 10K in her underwear this weekend.

9 Deborah James and Lauren Mahon

The duo who present the award-winning podcast, You, Me and The Big C, James and Mahon will both be running on bank holiday Monday.

10 Jonathan Brownlee

Two-time Olympic medallist and triathlete Jonathan Brownlee will also be running the 2019 Vitality London 10,000.

11 Laura Muir

When it comes to the Westminster Mile on Sunday, Muir will be starting her summer season, which she hopes will end in glory at the World Championships in Doha.

Defending champion Melissa Courtney, the Commonwealth Games 1500m bronze medallist is also back again.

In the men’s race, defending champion Chris O’Hare is hoping to become the first man in the history of the Vitality Westminster Mile to break the four-minute barrier.

2017 champion Adelle Tracey will also be racing again.

16 Andrew Strauss

Former England cricket captain Andrew Strauss is set to lead the inaugural Ruth Strauss Foundation Family Mile alongside the entire England’s ICC Men’s World Cup squad. They will be running in memory of his wife, Ruth, who died in December 2018 from a rare form of lung cancer, and with their two sons.

Downton Abbey star Jim Carter, is taking a break from playing Mr Carson, to run his first Vitality Westminster Mile at the weekend.
